Are You Sabotaging Your Health and Longevity by Eating Too Much Protein?

I saw this article written by Dr. Mercola and I believe it worth sharing with you guys

Protein is essential for your health as it's a structural component of enzymes, cellular receptors, signaling molecules, and a main building block for your muscles and bones.
Proteins also perform transport carrier functions, and the amino acid components of proteins serve as precursors for hormones and vitamins. But, when it comes to how much you need on a daily basis, there is a wide variety of opinions.

Sepp Blatter Says FIFA Has Dropped Corruption Charges

Sepp Blatter Says FIFA Has Dropped charges

Suspended FIFA President Sepp Blatter claims a judge has dropped corruption charges regarding a $2 million payment the organisation made to UEFA President Michel Platini.

The Swiss made the claims in an interview with Blick on Sunday (h/t Agence France-Presse via Yahoo Sports), saying the judge told him so at the start of an eight-hour hearing: "The judge told me at the start 'the corruption charges have been withdrawn.'"

The corruption charges aren't the only ones brought against Blatter, Platini and FIFA, but they have received the most attention so far. ESPN FC has detailed accounts of all of the incidents and accusations dogging the organisation.

As reported by BBC 5 Live's Richard Conway, FIFA's ethics committee will announce its verdict on the case Monday:

If Blatter and Platini are found guilty, they could be banned from football for life.

Blatter has been president of FIFA since 1998 and was elected to a fifth term earlier this year. Soon after, the first charges came to light, and the FBI and Swiss authorities made a number of arrests in May, per the Guardian's Owen Gibson and Damien Gayle.

FIFA are being accused of corruption and bribery, with investigators particularly keen on finding out if foul play took place when the organisation handed the 2018 and 2022 World Cups to Russia and Qatar, respectively

The Most Successful Leaders Know that Leadership is Not A Popularity Contest

The Most Successful Leaders Know that Leadership is Not A Popularity Contest
Leadership is not a popularity contest. Leadership is about doing the right thing at the right time rather than the popular thing. We should all know that unlike what we believe, leaders are not running democracies. Being a leader is not about being liked. The "world leaders", as we tenderly call them, are not leaders per se, with all due respect. In fact, my next door neighbour, or yours as well, might be more of a leader than any of of these political actors. We all know that elections are simply popularity contests.

Have you heard this advice before: “Follow your passions!” “Do what you love!”?
And have you thought, what if my passions are my hobbies? Things that I could never be paid for?
For some, the advice to “do what you love” seems possible only if you have a passion for things like finance or accounting or coding. Well, I’ve been happy to find that it’s possible to follow your passions into a career, no matter what those passions may be. With social media, you now have a platform to do what you love and to make a career out of it.

Thankfully, the Moroccan-born writer Laila Lalami, who was also longlisted, was quick to remind him, tweeting: “I am African. It’s an identity I’m often denied but that I will always insist upon”.

Common Qualities of Successful Entrepreneurs (and How You Can Adopt Them)

There’s no definitive formula for success. However, as entrepreneurs, we don’t really need a formula.
We can stand on the shoulders of giants. We don’t need to guess or try to figure out our path to success from complete scratch. We can look to the successful entrepreneurs out there and emulate their habits, common qualities and characteristics.
Here are the six common qualities I’ve found among the entrepreneurs I try to model myself after. This isn’t the definitive list nor the only important qualities. These are just the ones I think you can take the most away from right now. With each quality, I’ll show you a successful entrepreneur that possesses it and how you emulate them and apply that quality today.

Secrets every woman keeps from her man (part 1)

USA, New Jersey, Jersey City, Young couple lying on bed
The woman you sleep with gazes into your eyes and tells you she loves you. And you believe her. You can tell by the way she looks at you, the way she holds you, the way she seems to always know what you want before you do.
There are a few of things in life you just know, and how much you love this naked woman is one of them. But there are a lot of things you don't know.
A woman may give you her body and her heart, but there are parts that she’ll never give up. Pieces woven into the very fiber of her being. Mysteries only hinted at in a passing sly smile, an inscrutable laugh.
These are the secrets of lovers past, hidden fantasies, and unshared longings. A woman’s deepest secrets that don’t—and never will—include you. You’re about to sample this hidden knowledge.
But like any man who seeks, you'd better be prepared for what you're about to find.
