Former Nigerian Governors And Their Deputies Drain Nigeria Of Scarce Funds

How Just 24 Privileged Former Nigerian Governors And their Deputies Drain Nigeria of Scarce Funds, Perpetuate Poverty

Despite proclamations to the contrary, evidence shows that the Nigerian government continues to perpetuate poverty in the country by practice of the enrichment of a few officials at the expense of millions of people.

BY SAHARAREPORTERS, NEW YORKJUL 25, 2017

Despite proclamations to the contrary, evidence shows that the Nigerian government continues to perpetuate poverty in the country by practice of the enrichment of a few officials at the expense of millions of people.

As a result, governments at federal and state levels underfund vital sectors of the economy except for the political sector where individuals at the very heart double-dip into the public purse.  Mathematically, just a few of these officials, for the privilege of serving in political office, earn in a year what over 112 Nigerians living below the poverty line cannot earn in a lifetime.

Saharareporters looked at 24 well-positioned politicians today whose earnings as political office holders illustrate this fact. The 24 politicians—previous state governors or deputy governors who are currently serving as Senators or Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria are drawing wages on the right and on the left—are:Former governors ripping Nigeria offSahara Reporters Media

According to the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), the government agency which has the responsibility of determining the remuneration of political office holders, governors and deputy governors are entitled to N2,223,705 and N2,112,214 as annual salaries.  This is outside of numerous allowances accruable to them.

RMAFC is also, by the provision of the constitution, empowered to determine the remuneration of all legislators. A Senator is entitled to a whopping sum of N12,939,549 per annum, as basic salary and allowances.

These 24 individuals have earned almost 10 billion naira as salaries and privileges for serving in public office. Meanwhile, the poverty report of Nigeria Bureau of Statistics (NBS) pinned the poverty rate at 67.1% of the total population, indicating that over 112 million Nigerians live below the poverty line. In sharp contrast to the
reality of those over 112 million Nigerians living below the poverty line, Nigeria, at both state and federal levels, has remained committed to enriching a few politicians to the detriment of the majority of her citizens.

It must be pointed out that the amount relating to governors excludes any other largesse they must have enjoyed while in office.  For instance, the controversial security vote, which has become the honey pot of many state governors, was not considered because the funds and how it is spent remains shrouded in secrecy. Privileges such as medical care, security and vacation were also not added.

The implications of this misplacement of financial priority on the part of the government are not far to seek. Across the country, schools have been shut down because of poor funding, yet both state and federal governments have continued to fund this infinitesimal group, paying them humongous salaries and pensions.

In the last two years, for instance, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology has been shut down for more than 10 months because both joint owners, Oyo and Osun state governments, have refused to fund the institution adequately. Meanwhile, the two states have continued to fund a robust pension package for all former governors and deputy governors.

An extensive investigation by Saharareporters revealed 13 states that have continued to fund 16 ex-leaders who also are currently earning fat salaries from the coffers of the federal government.  These states include: Abia, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Kano, Kwara, Osun, Sokoto, Gombe, Adamawa, Ebonyi, Zamfara, Rivers, and Lagos.

Mr. Isiaka Adeleke, the first civilian governor of Osun state and a three-time member of the Nigerian Senate up until his death a few months ago, was enjoying a life time pension which had run up to N446million in seven years.

Osun State, with thousands of unpaid workers and civil servant pensioners, has used up about half a billion naira in pensions to just one former governor who was in office for only one year (1992-1993).

According to NBS, Gombe, Sokoto and Zamfara States are three of the top 10 poorest states in Nigeria; Zamfara being 10th with 70.11% of population living in abject poverty, while Sokoto and Gombe ranked 2nd
and 4th with 80.2% and 74.2% respectively.

But these three states have paid over half a billion naira as pension to three former governors. Ahmed Sani Yerima who was governor of Zamfara state in 1999-2007 has earned N182m in 10 years since leaving office. In total, Yerima has earned N426mfrom both state and Federal governments, as a former governor and now as a member of the Senate.

Furthermore, Gombe and Sokoto States have paid Mohammed Danjuma Goje and Aliyu Magartakarda Wamakko N297m and N200m respectively as pension since the duo left office as governors.

Goje who also was a former Minister (1999-2001), has smiled home with N596m during his triple helpings as governor, minister and currently, Senator. This is outside of his medical care and security that the Gombe
government is bound by law to provide for him as a former governor.

Yerima and such people as the former Yobe governor, Bukar Abba Ibrahim (who was recently caught in a dingy hotel sleeping with two girls), George Akume of Benue, Rabiu Kwankwanso of Kano and Samuel Egwu of Ebonyi, have scooped up hundreds of millions from the government’s purse since 1999 and will continue until 2019 at least. That would be 20 years of unbroken earnings for just five men people in a country where 112 million live in abject poverty.

Kwakwanso, Egwu and Akume have respectively earned N578m, N157m and N244m since 1999 that they entered government, with close to one billion naira accruing to Bukar, who was Yobe governor for 8 years and has earned N865m as pensions since vacating the governor’s seat 10 years ago.

Also firmly in the one billion naira circle is the current Minister for Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, who has earned N1billion since 2007 when he became governor of Rivers state. Amaechi has earned N965 million as pension from that state, and now earns more besides as Minister.

Equally fascinating is Akwa Ibom State, which considering its oil producing status is one of the richest states in the country, but that has never translated to improved living conditions for the Akwa Ibom people.  That does not include the likes of Godswill Akpabio, who has received N654millionas pensions in the last two years alone.

What is worse is the revelation that pension payments and other entitlements were drawn and passed into law by some of the politicians considered in this report when they were sitting governors. In 2007, Buka Abba Ibrahim, who is one of the highest-earning pensioners in Nigeria, signed the pension law in Yobe state.  In 2010, Saraki implemented his version in Kwara State while Amaechi did the same in 2014 in Rivers State.

Babatunde Fashola, the Minister for Power, Works and Housing is a beneficiary of the two-fold pension benefit system enshrined in the Lagos State pension act 2007. As a former governor who served two terms, Fashola is entitled to two houses - in Lagos and Abuja - as retirement benefits. This is irrespective of the RMAFC prescription that provided 300 percent of basic salary as severance for Certain Political Office Holders and Judicial Officers.

According to the Act, “The recommendation is to maintain this allowance at 300% of annual basic salary enjoyable by elected and appointed political, public and judicial office holders at all tiers of government after successful completion of each tenure.”

For these 24 super-Nigerians, who have interpreted, and deployed the apparatus of state to serve them for life. Beyond the naira and kobo that flow voluminously into their accounts, they enjoy security protection that is separate and distinct from that being provided by their current offices. Armed policemen and officers of Department of State Security Service (DSS) are deployed to ensure their safety as ex-governors or deputies, and for their families too.  In addition, many of them ensured they would, and are enjoying the services of a contingent of endless domestic staff of cooks, gardeners and drivers, courtesy of the state government.

Opportunity Cost Of The Billions Spent On These Politicians

What might Nigerian states have looked like, were these funds not being drained by insensitive and selfish politicians?

In Zamfara State, Saharareporters projects that the hundreds of millions being paid to former Governor Yerima in pensions could have procured vaccines to confront the outbreak of fatal diseases in the state. Had that been in place a few years ago, the outbreak of Type C Cerebrospinal Meningitis which claimed 215 of the 336 lives lost nationwide may have been avoided.

On the subject of health, that sector remains one of Nigeria’s most decrepit, largely because of poor funding, with many Nigerians, including children, dying daily of treatable diseases such as malaria.  The humongous sums being claimed as pensions and bogus allowances by these politicians, who give themselves and their families the best medical care in foreign hospitals, would have done a great deal to strengthen the health sector.

What about the education sector?  Only recently the United Nations Emergency Fund (UNICEF) reported that approximately 10 million school age children are out of school in Nigeria. One of the factors for the high rise in the statistics of out of school kids has predominantly been affordability and accessibility of schools. With 9.7 billion naira, at least 10 public schools could have been built, greatly reducing the number of children who are out of school.

Viewed another way, that sum could have funded LAUTECH, for instance.  With the millions of naira being paid in pensions to former governors and deputy governors, that institution would have fared much better. According to different reports, LAUTECH needs only about N4 billion to clear staff salaries and get the institution back on its feet. But while top politicians, many of who send their children to expensive schools abroad, continue to drain these critical funds, over 28,000 young Nigerians have been kept out of school as an opportunity.

The Nigerian government is widely-adjudged to be one of the most expensive around the world, but it is becoming increasingly more expensive because of the cost of serving and sustaining a small group of current and past political office holders.

The time has come when Nigerians must loudly demand that these officials, who identify and denounce corruption only when it is on the other side of the road, cut down on dubious government expenses such as salaries, pensions and allowances, and reprioritize the country’s financial engagement so that such critical sectors as education and health can develop, thereby translating into better living conditions for the populace.

Voices To Reject The Imposition Of Arabic Studies On Christian Students In Secondary Schools In Nigeria

FHC/ABJ/CS/570/2017.

(The Incorporated Trustees of Kingdom Human Rights Foundation International, has dragged the Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo, the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu and the Federal Ministry of Education before the Federal High Court in Abuja over alleged removal of Christian Religious Studies, CRS, from the academic curriculum of studies for Nigerian schools.) Vanguard Online News June 27, 2017.

Must Tell Nigerians... (Nigerians deserve the right to know).

Please, read on.

Don't attend Arabic classes! Christian leaders tell Christian students.

- Top Christian religious leaders have kicked against the removal of Christian Religion Studies (CRS) in Secondary School curriculum.

- They argued that if CRS must be removed from the students curriculum, Arabic should be
removed too.

- The Christian leaders also urged all Christian students to boycott the compulsory Arabic classes.

Top Christian religious leaders have all raised their voices to reject the imposition of Arabic studies on Christian students in Secondary schools in Nigeria.

They have all ordered Christian students to boycott the compulsory Arabic classes.

From Book Haram (Boko Haram) that killed Christians in their thousands in the North East to armed Fulani Herdsmen who went about killing Christians in their various communities from North to the South to AREWA Youths sacking Igbos in the North and now this newest move - Deleting CRS from Secondary School Curriculum. Christians in Nigeria, WAKE UP FROM YOUR SLUMBER. I just hope we will not be history in few years to come with this our attitude that it is not possible to Islamize Nigeria. Remember that decision making is a game of number and strength. With the killings of Christians in good number and this subtle indoctrination of our children, Christian population will be reduced to controllable minimum or total annihilation. Wake up the giant in you and be useful for once for the Lord in this battle against your faith and soul.

... As Christians, we urge you to share this message until it gets to all nook and cranny of this nation and win soul each day for the Lord. You may be the one that will win the soul of that man that will be the King Cyrus (Isa 44:28, 45:1-5) of our day or the woman that will be the Queen Esther (Esther 4:16) of our day.

God bless you.

Domestic Abuse

Everybody is hung up on domestic abuse by men against women. Nobody spares a moment to find solutions to the equally devastating verbal abuse men suffer in the hands of their wives. It is worse because men can't discuss what their wives do to them for fear of scorn and derision. They suffer in silence. Timebomb.

Unfortunately, the Nigerian society has little or no support systems for this kind of situation. Little or no counselling services. These women are raising daughters. Their daughters are hearing and seeing how they speak to and treat their husband. What kind of wives will they grow up to become? Those that treat their husbands as kings or those that believe husbands are nothing but verbal punching bags?

We've all agreed and rightfully so that a man has no business hitting his wife. So how then do you stop a wife raining verbal missiles at you? Leave the house? Okay. But you'll return and it will continue. What next? Leave again? For how long?

Recently, I visited a senior friend, an important man in the society and while we were downstairs gisting, the voice of his wife could be heard upstairs. She was spewing unimaginable bile against the man. She called him all sorts of unprintable names. Impotent, wretched fool, miserable man that was nothing when she married him, etc. This is a well respected man. A father of 4 children. She tore at his very core and mocked everything society respected him for. She said he'd soon crash and she'll be there to laugh at him.

I was so uncomfortable as I beheld the man. He was shrunken before me. He was deflated. He tried to gamefully continue the gist to distract me but it was not working. The woman's vitriol was a ceaseless torrent. Uncomfortable silence ensued. I excused myself and left his house.

I was really sad.

You want to know the truth? This is what most men go through in their houses. They labour and toil and build respect but when they return home, the one who ought to speak to the king in them tears them to shreds and tries to deflate their self-esteem. When they are outside, they try to act cheerful and happy but back home, they are shrivelled because the person they live with makes it a point of duty to verbally assault them.

A sad story comes to mind. There was recently a Nigerian Ambassador who was recalled because his wife released a story to the press that he beat her. She also released pictures showing fresh injuries on her body ostensibly inflicted by the man.

In a dramatic twist, their children came out to debunk the stories and said their mother faked the injuries to embarrass their dad. Grown up children.

A particular sentence by the 1st son saddened me. He said it was as if their mum woke up every morning with one mission in life: how to make their dad miserable. They said they were witnesses to how their mum constantly harassed and abused their dad and wanted the whole world to know that their dad was not who their mum was painting him to be.

Yes, opinion shifted on the scandal but the damage had been done. The Ambassador was recalled and nobody heard from him again.

A family is currently at odds with the widow of their son and brother. The wife was constantly verbally assaulting him. Nobody wanted to visit them because each time they were around, it was always quarrel and the wife would call him unprintable names. Even in their presence. When they try to interfere, she will give them their own. The man died recently of heart-attack caused by high blood pressure. He was in his late 40s. The family insists his wife sent him to his early grave with her verbal torments.

Our bars are filled with men who are afraid to go home to their wives for fear of what verbal torment they will go through. Men are finding every excuse to travel because they'll rather be anywhere than in their own homes.

Everybody is focusing on men as culprits in domestic abuse. Who is talking to the women?

Ka Chineke mezie okwu.

Awolowo -Unity of Nigeria

WE ALL MUST READ

Jakande was sentenced to jail just like his boss, Awolowo. But Jakande was crying in the court not because of himself but for Awolowo. When Awolowo saw him, approached him and asked him "why crying for only me..." Jakande replied "I don't mind going to jail and even adding your terms to mine, why South.West, why is it that the only Premier in Nigeria that will be jailed is the Premier of my Region?"

Awolowo replied "Dry your tears, God sometimes keep his own away when danger is approaching...."

And that was what happened!

The reason why Nigeria didn't break in 1967 was Obafemi Awolowo. Gowon said "I needed him badly more than I needed the Nigerian Army".....Why? Two reasons;

1. The original rallying point of the Yoruba was Awolowo. If Yoruba supported the break up, no Jupiter can stop it. Therefore, to keep Nigeria one, Awolowo must endorse it!!!!

2. The wisdom of Awolowo was unequalled, unparalleled and unrivalled. His wisdom must not be on the side of the rebel, Nigeria would not survive without it.

No wonder the two Warriors Gowon and Ojukwu said and I quote;

"I am the luckiest ruler of Nigeria because the best Nigeria asset in person of Chief Awolowo was my Vice Chairman and Finance Commissioner..."- Gowon.

"Chief Awolowo is the best President of Nigeria that never was..."- Ojukwu.

Need I say more?

Murtala Mohammed had ensured in his Transition Programme that Shehu Shagari would not contest but after his death, OBJ relaxed the rules.....Shagari was allowed to contest and won but in 1984, Buhari stopped Shagari again, describing his election as "shamelessly rigged".......

NCNC was the popular Party in Lagos. They always won Lagos. And Awolowo's Action Group would have lost in 1954 if not for Madam Abibatu Mogaji the mother of JAGABAN who mobilized the Lagos women for AG!

THE SECRET OF AWOLOWO....

Awolowo deliberately spent a lot of money in establishing exclusive investments for the Western Region where he thought the SW Progressive Politics would be financed. He said "SW need stable source of fund to fight politically because a poor people cannot fight the Central Government..."

No one knew this secret until his Deputy had issues with Awolowo and leaked the secret to the opponent. He told them "fight Awolowo from now till forever, if you didn't destroy the Western Nigerian Investments, SW will always be buoyant financially and they will fight you and win you...." Wow!!!!! That was the end!!!

From that time, to cut the story short, SW was targeted! AWO was accused of fraud. Investments converted to Full state investment and later Odu'a Investment. And later, during the military regime, there was a time when all SW governors were non Yorubas, Odu'a investment was crushed. Cold dead!

But LAGOS of Tinubu reinvested the progressive interest in a more sophisticated way. MAY THE SECRET OF LAGOS NOT BE  LEAKED THE WAY ENEMIES LEAKED THE SECRET OF SW!!!

The Story of Progressive Politics in Nigeria since 1954 had its Genesis from Awolowo's Palm Tree which, After processing, have its revelation from Tinubu's Broom!!!

No more No less!

We must never forget the families of Obafemi Awolowo, Lateef Jakande, Bisi Onabanjo, Bola Ige, Adekunle Ajasin, Ambrose Ali, Adebayo, JS Olawoyin, Anthony Enahoro, Abraham Adesanya, S.O Gbadamosi, Bode Thomas.....

These are first generation of progressive politicians who played progressive politics for life!!!

UP AWO!!!!

Simple but Notable. When Awolowo arrived Lagos from Calabar Prison, after meeting with Gowon, it was Murtala Mohammed who voluntarily drove Awolowo home, in his personal car. Murtala described the gesture(driving Awolowo) as a privilege!!!

Simple but Notable!!!

Dangerous and Unhealthy

If you continue to eat it or suck it, you may not die today, tomorrow or next but you will surely die from either the germs, poisons or the scorns therein.

Scientists from the 1920s discovered that the vagina of an adult female produces a substance called "Menotoxins" the good news is that this substance is not dangerous to the owner, unless poor hygiene, disease or injury were to make this substance build up or get into her blood through the injury - these could cause infection.

The bad news is though this substance is harmless ordinarily but as the name "Menotoxin" implies it becomes very toxic when living tissues and organisms are exposed over a longer to vaginal fluids and menstrual flows. About 1924, a renowned paediatrist and scientist, Dr. Bela Schick further proved the existence of Menstrual poisons - this marked the beginning of the modern study and the medical jargon "menotoxin".

As far back as 77 AD, the Roman Naturalist and Scientist, Pliny (the Elder) Secundi wrote: "the vagina of menstruating women could kill crops and turn wine sour."

The Holy Bible in Leviticus : Chapter 15 Verses 19-33 Jehovah Yahweh commanded that a woman in her period is unclean and she must be avoided, anything she used/touched must be avoided and thoroughly washed. "If a man has sexual intercourse with her and her blood touches him, her MENSTRUAL IMPURITY will be transmitted to him. He will remain unclean..." Leviticus 15:24

A Roman Catholic Scientist, Saint Albertus Magnus wrote in his book "De Secretis Mulierum" (Women's Secrets):

"Menstruating women give off harmful fumes that will poison the eyes of children lying in their cradles by a glance...because the female genital is extremely venomous”

Before you dip your handsome tongue into that succulent pussy, if you imagine Menotoxin is a myth that has been debunked by scientific research - At the end of World War 2 in 1945 marked the beginning of social liberalism and equality for all gender and races alike through the UN Declaration of Peoples Rights, thus, any theory and views whether scientific no matter how factual as far as it suggests that a class of persons, group, gender or race is in any way disadvantaged, lower or incapacitated either by genetics, culture or environment such views were seen as prejudicial and bigotry- and may lead to another holocaust, so around 1945 to early 1950s, many liberal and Feminist scientists started the campaign to discard the theory of Menotoxins.

But in 1993, Margaret J. Profet a Feminist and a biologist while admitting to the toxicity of the Vaginal Fluid of the female, opined in an Article titled:"Menstruation as a Defense Against pathogens transported by sperm". She passed the blame to the men by admitting that though the female genital are haven of germs - so is the PENIS, she wrote:

"Sperm are vectors of disease. During mammalian insemination bacteria from the male and female genitalia regularly cling to sperm tails and are transported to the uterus." page 1: The Quarterly Review of Biology 68, no. 3 (Sep., 1993): 335-386.

See brother, it is not only during Menstruation that germs invade, the vagina breeds germs - just that the Menstrual flow transports the germs to the surface outside and away from a woman's body. Recently in 2016, Scientist discovered that Oral Sex is the leading cause of mouth cancer in men.

Now this is the the interesting part, In UK, more than 80% of the people diagnosed of throat and mouth cancer associated with the HPV (sexually transmitted disease) are men.

The popular Hollywood actor, Michael Douglas of "Basic Instinct" and "Las Vegas" publicly came out in 2016 to admit that his Mouth and Throat Cancer which almost killed him was caused by his acts of sucking vagina - guess what! His wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones has no mouth cancer. Since surviving his ordeal from the vagina, Michael Douglas has continued to preach and campaign against Oral Sex by men.

Women have a very low chance to contract any disease from an ordinarily healthy man - the penis is by nature very neat, dry and edible on the surface of it, but the vagina is anatomically open and moist making it a den for germs and diseases. Stop giving head to women, or you will die.

Corruption Is Not Our Biggest Problem In Nigeria

Nigerians need to stop falling for the propaganda that corruption is our biggest problem. This is a lie. Corruption is not our biggest problem in Nigeria.
Our unitary system is the biggest problem. Corruption is only a byproduct of the unitary system. Let me explain what I mean using electricity as a case study.
The reason why we do not have regular electricity in Nigeria is not that of corruption but because of the unitary national grid system. The national grid is expensive to build and expensive to maintain, therefore making the entire business of power generation and distribution unprofitable. It is an unnecessary wasteful way to solve our electricity problem. With the present unitary national grid system, we might never have regular electricity even if we pump in $1billion into the sector yearly.
Corruption or no corruption, we cannot solve our electricity challenges as long as we maintain a national grid and the federal government, together with its regional monopolies continues to withhold exclusive right over distribution.

What is the difference between http and https

What is the difference between http and https ?
Many of you may be aware of this difference, but it is worth sharing for any that are not conversant with it.
The main difference between http:// and https:// is all about keeping you secure
HTTP stands for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol The S (big surprise) stands for "Secure".. If you visit a Website or web page, and look at the address in the web browser, it is likely begin with the following: http://
This means that the website is talking to your browser using the regular unsecured language. In other words, it is possible for someone to "eavesdrop" on your computer's conversation with the Website. If you fill out a form on the website, someone might see the information you send to that site.
This is why you never ever enter your credit card number in an Http website! But if the web address begins with https://, that means your computer is talking to the website in a Secure code that no one can eavesdrop on. You understand why this is so important, right?
If a website ever asks you to enter your Credit/Debit card Information, you should automatically look to see if the web address begins with https://.
If it doesn't, You should NEVER enter sensitive Information such as a credit/debit card number.
PASS IT ON (You may save someone a lot of grief as well as spare them from paying the price of ignorance)!

*Reasons why you must marry a yoruba woman!!!

*Reasons why you must marry a yoruba woman!!!
No wonder yoruba people are so smart and well behaved except for the ones without maternal care. Yoruba mothers are one of the best when it comes to child upbringing. Yoruba mothers produce the best range of slaps: IGBATI, IFOTI, IGBAJU, IGBARUN, IFORUN, IFAKUN, ILADI, ABARA. These slaps will make you think you were adopted. IGBATI will make you correct your wrongs instantly! The beauty of IFOTI is, you will confess your sins on the spot. IGBARUN, IGBAJU and IFORUN will make you expose those who committed the crime with you without hesitation. ABARA and ILADI will make you pee in your new pants. And apart from IGBAJU, we have an advanced one which is IGBAJU OLOYI. When you receive this one, you'll lose balance and your head will go into "auto search" as you'll be wondering what hit you!!! Oh!!! IGBAJU OLOYI... It can reset someone to 3D (DEAF,DUMB and DAFT). You'll be told 'let's go home' and you'll say 'its in my pocket'... LOL !!! GOD bless our parents for the good upbringing. If you were brought up in yoruba land, regardless of how caring your mother was, you would have encountered these slaps..... I know you're now laughing unless you're not a YORUBA".*

Why Worry?

Why Worry?

There is no point worrying about anything. Worry, rather than solve the problem, creates a new problem - more major than the one it seeks to solve. For the worried man has reduced his capacity to clearly think out a solution. Instead of one, he has two problems. So, smile through your challenges. In the process, you free up your mind and spirit to connect with God and think out a solution. Why worry?

Rat Race? Count Me Out!
I run to win. I do not run to be No 1. If winning places me in the No 1 spot, all well and good. I pummel my body and exercise my mental and spiritual faculties to be the best I can be. That's all that matters to me. The happy and fulfilled life is not a race track for inordinate ambitions. It is a winners' lane where people of honour strive to improve on their best efforts. So, count me out of the rat race because I am not racing against anyone but constantly working towards besting my best efforts. Besides, the last time I checked, I was not a rat.

Inter-Species Relationship

A 24-year-old female tourist from Germany has reportedly given birth to a litter of German Shepherd puppies in Stellenbosch, Western Cape Province in South Africa, after being hospitalized with severe stomach pains.
Doctors at a Western Cape private hospital were surprised to see Kedder go into labor, as she didn’t know she was pregnant.
"It was even more of a shock when three tiny puppies came out instead of a baby," said Dr. Brown of the Medical Center where Kedder gave birth to her 'puppies'.
"To be honest, we didn’t know this was possible. It’s both a marvel of modern medicine and extremely disturbing at the same time."
Kedder admits that while she was recently living at home, she would often have sex with the family dog, Jonsey, because she couldn’t find a date.
It all started when my parents moved to a new place while we were still based in Germany. I lost my job, and my boyfriend dumped me too," said Kedder. "I didn’t have time to meet any new guys while I was applying for jobs, so I would sometimes have sex with Jonsey our dog, just to relieve myself of too much stress. I don’t think it was wrong. He’s a big dog, and he wasn’t hurt by it. In fact, he really seemed to like it. I know I did. And besides, back in our country having sex with an animal is not a crime, and I don't giving  birth to an animal would either be a crime here provided the act wasn't committed in this country," she said.
According to Dr. Brown, Kedder’s birth is the first on record for an inter-species relationship.
